CLUB HELENSVALE
The green is the heart of Club Helensvale. When it was time for renewal, we partnered with the club and worked alongside MakMax to deliver a space that respects tradition and prepares for the future. Together, every detail was carefully planned—from creating a solid, well-drained base, to installing a Greengauge woven carpet that meets Australian Bowls Standards. Overhead, MakMax’s beautiful all-weather roofline now shelters the green, ensuring year-round play and comfort for everyone.
This project isn’t just about upgrading the surface—it’s about giving the Club Helensvale community a consistent, welcoming place to play, gather, and celebrate their sport, rain or shine, for many years to come.
BEFORE & DURING BOWLING GREEN CONSTRUCTION
Site set-up and preparation, with an organised and secure work area established for smooth project delivery.
Installation of Megaflo drains, neatly connected to the surrounding PVC stormwater system and covered with 20mm screenings rock for lasting performance.
Groundwork completed to lay strong foundations and install smart drainage for reliable, year-round use.
All drains are installed & covered, with base rock stage nearing completion, ready for compaction.
Top layer of rock laser graded, almost ready for first application of bonding agent.
Underlay layer complete.
