KARINGAL BOWLS CLUB
BIOScapes Group was proud to work alongside Karingal Bowls Club, a valued part of the Mornington Peninsula community. Together, we transformed the club’s natural turf bowling green into a new Greengauge (GG3) synthetic surface, designed to provide consistent play and all-weather reliability.
The installation of the Greengauge underlay and woven carpet was the final touch, creating a world-class surface that blends durability with low maintenance. More than just a new green, this upgrade supports the club’s future while celebrating its rich sporting heritage and community spirit.
BEFORE & DURING BOWLING GREEN CONSTRUCTION
Sub-base surveyed, prepared and shaped for public safety with compound and truck deposit areas set up green layout.
Existing surface excavated to the required depth and new mega flow drainage systems installed beneath the future green.
Sewing of the final GG3 woven carpet over the completed base and underlay to Australian Bowls Standards.
AFTER BOWLING GREEN CONSTRUCTION
Green fully completed, commissioned, and handed over with manual for ongoing care and maintenance.
New GG3 6mm underlay and woven carpet surface installed, achieving precision levels of ±3mm over 3m.
Facility ready for safe, year-round use by club members and the wider community.
