Set in the heart of Stockland Halcyon St Germain’s welcoming over-55s community, our works have brought to life a new Greengauge (GG3) bowling green and three dedicated pickleball courts. Each space has been carefully designed and constructed to offer easy care, lasting quality, and safe, all-weather play for residents—supporting the active, social lifestyle that makes this development so unique.
Surrounded by landscaped gardens and just steps from the clubhouse and resort-style amenities, these new sporting facilities provide a gentle foundation for friendship, connection, and well-being. With thoughtful design and practical finishes in every detail, the bowling green and pickleball courts invite both seasoned players and newcomers to share in community spirit—making low-maintenance, healthy living a daily joy for everyone at St Germain.
DURING BOWLING GREEN CONSTRUCTION
The site at Stockland Halcyon St Germain sits open and ready. It is marked out, secured, and prepared for the start of a new community bowling green.
Groundwork begins with careful excavation. At the same time, the team prepares the sub-base for the next stage of construction.
Reinforcement grids are set across the gravel base, building strength and stability. As a result, the surface will support safe and long-lasting play.

Progress continues as layers take shape. Compacted gravel, reinforcement, and timber framing come together to form a strong foundation.
With the groundwork complete, the bowling green moves closer to its final synthetic surface. It is now ready for the next stage of installation.
The engineered slab for the pickleball court is poured and finished. It now sits ready for the next stage of paint works.
